Booking an independent Bompani repair

We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Bompani warranty, use Bompani's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.

Which Bompani appliances we repair

We service Bompani gas cookers, ovens and hobs. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.

Bompani model families we see in UAE homes

Bompani is an Italian cooking-appliance maker, producing cookers, ovens and hobs since 1954 from Modena. UAE model numbers carry a BO prefix, and the digits indicate the width class: BO2xx built-in hobs, BO243 built-in ovens, and BO6xx and 90-series freestanding gas cookers. The UAE hob range includes ceramic models as well as gas, so not every Bompani hob is a gas hob.

Bompani parts in the UAE

We source Bompani parts through UAE trade suppliers. Bompani's own technical-assistance channel is Italy-only and publishes nothing about Gulf parts supply, so availability and timing vary by model and we confirm both after diagnosis.

We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.

How the repair works

  • Call or WhatsApp with the model number and the symptom.
  • On-site diagnosis — the fault is tested and confirmed, not guessed.
  • Fixed price, approved by you before any work starts. Parts quoted separately.
  • Tested in front of you, then 90 days of warranty on the repair.

Bompani repair questions

Does 24x7 Customer Care work for Bompani?

No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent appliance repair company. We have no affiliation with, and are not an agent for, the Bompani brand or its manufacturer. Bompani names and model numbers appear on this page only to describe the appliances we repair. If your cooker, oven or hob is still inside the manufacturer's warranty period, you should go to the manufacturer or the retailer you bought it from first, because an independent repair may affect that cover.

My Bompani gas cooker clicks but the burner will not light. What causes that?

On a gas cooker the spark ignition and the flame-safety system are separate things, and either can stop a burner lighting. Bompani's own installation guidance for its cookers points to a short list of ignition problems: an ignition electrode that is damp, dirty or cracked; the gap between electrode and burner being wrong; a broken or unsheathed ignition lead; the spark tracking to earth somewhere it should not; a failed spark generator or micro-switch; air trapped in the gas line; or an incorrect air-gas mixture for the fuel in use. Before calling anyone, check the obvious ones yourself: make sure the burner cap is seated squarely and dry after cleaning, and confirm the cylinder or mains gas is actually on. If it still will not light, or the flame lights and then dies as soon as you release the knob, stop and book a technician — the second symptom usually points at the flame-failure device, which is a gas safety component and not a DIY repair.

What does the error code on my Bompani oven mean?

Most Bompani gas cookers, gas ovens and gas hobs sold in the UAE do not use a numbered fault-code system at all. Their controls are mechanical knobs and a timer, so a fault shows up as behaviour — no ignition, a flame that drops out, an oven that will not reach temperature — rather than as a code on a display. On the electric and multifunction models that do have an electronic display, any code shown is model-specific and Bompani does not publish a public code list, so a code means very little until it is read alongside the actual symptom and the model number on the appliance's rating plate. If your appliance is showing something on the display, tell us the exact characters you can see and the model number, and we will diagnose from the appliance itself rather than guessing from the code.

My Bompani oven runs cold, or burns food on one side. Is that worth repairing?

Usually yes, because uneven or weak oven heat is normally caused by one identifiable part rather than by the whole appliance being finished. On an electric Bompani oven the usual suspects are a failed heating element, a thermostat or temperature sensor that has drifted out of calibration, or a fan-oven motor that is no longer circulating air. On a gas oven it is more often the oven burner, the thermostat, or a flame-safety device that is cutting the gas back too early. Door problems matter too — a perished door seal or a dropped hinge lets heat escape and will make every result uneven. A technician can confirm which of these it is on site, and you will get a repair-or-replace opinion before you commit to anything.

Do you repair built-in Bompani hobs and ovens, or only freestanding cookers?

Both. Bompani's UAE range covers freestanding gas cookers, built-in ovens in 60 cm and 90 cm widths in gas and electric versions, and built-in hobs from 30 cm up to 90 cm in gas, ceramic and induction. We handle all of these. Built-in units do need a little more care because the appliance has to be drawn out of the cabinetry to be worked on and, in the case of a hob, the gas connection has to be broken and remade properly afterwards. Please tell us when you book whether the appliance is freestanding or built in, and give us the model number from the rating plate, so the technician arrives prepared for the job in front of him.

I can smell gas near my Bompani cooker. What should I do?

Treat it as urgent and do not try to diagnose it yourself. Shut off the gas at the cylinder valve or the mains isolation valve, open windows and doors to ventilate the room, and do not operate any electrical switch, plug, extractor fan or lighter in that space, as a spark is exactly what you are trying to avoid. Leave the property if the smell is strong. Once you are somewhere safe, call us and tell us it is a gas smell so we prioritise it. Gas leaks on cookers and hobs usually trace back to a perished flexible hose, a loose connection at the appliance inlet, or a worn gas tap, and all three are fixable — but they are fixable by a technician, not by tightening something at home.

What do you charge, and are you available outside working hours?

We work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. A technician attends, diagnoses the appliance and gives you a price before any work starts. If you approve the repair, the call-out fee is waived and only the repair is charged. Completed repairs carry a 90-day warranty on both the parts fitted and the labour. If you decide not to go ahead after the diagnosis, you pay the call-out and nothing else.

How do I find the model number of my Bompani appliance before I call?

It saves a lot of time on the first visit. On a freestanding cooker, look for the rating plate on the back panel, or open the oven door and check the frame around the cavity opening and the underside of the control panel. On a built-in oven the plate is usually on the door frame or on the inner edge of the trim, visible with the door open. On a hob you may need to look at the underside, or at the paperwork from installation. UAE Bompani models are typically written as a code beginning with BO — for example BO693YAL for a five-burner gas cooker, BO243JG for a gas built-in oven, or BO293MQ for a 90 cm gas hob. Send us that code along with a short description of the fault and we can usually tell in advance what part is likely to be needed.

Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
