Booking an independent De'Longhi repair

We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under De'Longhi warranty, use De'Longhi's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.

Which De'Longhi appliances we repair

We service De'Longhi coffee machines and coffee makers — bean-to-cup, espresso and manual machines. That is the whole of our De'Longhi scope: we do not take on any other De'Longhi product line. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.

Common De'Longhi fault codes and what they actually mean

These are codes we are called out for on De'Longhi appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.

GENERAL ALARM — bean-to-cup coffee machine (primadonna, eletta and similar ecam models)

GENERAL ALARM — REFER TO USER MANUAL/APP. De'Longhi attributes this to the inside of the machine being very dirty; the prescribed fix is a thorough clean of the machine's interior following the Cleaning section of the manual. If it returns after a proper clean, it needs a technician.

Usually: Built-up coffee oils and grounds around the brew unit and its housing, a brew unit that is jammed or not seating home, or a drip tray/grounds container not registering. If the banner comes straight back after a thorough clean and a correctly refitted brew unit, the cause is normally electrical — a sensor, the brew-unit motor or the control board — and needs bench diagnosis.

WATER CIRCUIT EMPTY / FILL CIRCUIT — bean-to-cup coffee machine (eletta, dinamica, autentica and similar ecam models)

The water circuit has emptied (air in the line). Confirm on screen (press OK) and let the machine deliver water from the hot-water spout until it flows normally; on newer models delivery stops automatically. If it recurs, check the water tank is fully seated.

Usually: Running the tank dry, or a tank that is not pushed fully home so the machine draws air instead of water. Recurring cases usually point to an airlock, a tired pump, or scale restricting the circuit — the last of these is the most common on machines that have been ignoring their descale prompts.

De'Longhi model families we see in UAE homes

The De'Longhi coffee machines we see in UAE homes are led by the bean-to-cup and espresso families — the Magnifica Evo and the Eletta, Dinamica and Autentica ECAM ranges. The full model code identifies which brew group applies.

De'Longhi parts in the UAE

De'Longhi coffee machines and espresso makers are serviced as small appliances rather than fitted units, and brew-group, grinder and boiler parts are model-specific across the ECAM range.

We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.

How the repair works

  • Call or WhatsApp with the model number and the symptom.
  • On-site diagnosis — the fault is tested and confirmed, not guessed.
  • Fixed price, approved by you before any work starts. Parts quoted separately.
  • Tested in front of you, then 90 days of warranty on the repair.

De'Longhi repair questions

My De'Longhi bean-to-cup machine is showing GENERAL ALARM. Can I fix that myself?

Start with a deep clean. De'Longhi's own support guidance links this message first to the inside of the machine being heavily soiled, so switch off at the wall, take out the drip tray, grounds container and brew unit, rinse the brew unit under the tap, and clear the coffee residue from the housing before refitting everything squarely. If the banner clears, it was dirt. If it comes straight back with a clean, correctly seated brew unit, the cause is usually a sensor, the brew-unit motor or the control board, and it needs to be opened up and tested properly rather than reset repeatedly.

There is water underneath my De'Longhi coffee machine. Is it a serious fault?

Not necessarily. Check the simple things first: a drip tray that has quietly overflowed, a water tank that is cracked or not pushed fully home, or a tank seal that has hardened. Beyond that, the usual leak points are the brew unit seals and the internal hose connections. Machines that have been dismissed the descale prompt for a long time tend to leak sooner, because scale build-up puts the seals and the pump under pressure they were not designed for. We will trace the actual leak point rather than guess at it, anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman or Abu Dhabi.

Are you the manufacturer's repair arm for De'Longhi?

No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent repair company with no affiliation to the manufacturer. We say that plainly because it matters to your decision: if your appliance is still inside its manufacturer warranty, check with the retailer you bought it from before booking an independent repair, as using one can affect that cover. For out-of-warranty machines, an independent repair is usually the faster and cheaper route.

Do you work on De'Longhi machines bought abroad or sold as 'international version'?

Yes. A lot of De'Longhi stock in the UAE is international-version or brought in from overseas, and mechanically these are the same machines. What differs is manufacturer warranty cover and sometimes the parts variant, so any warranty claim stays between you and whoever sold it to you. On our side we diagnose and repair the machine in front of us; where a part is model-specific we confirm sourcing with you before any work is approved.

What warranty do you give, and is there a call-out fee?

We give a 90-day warranty on the parts we fit and the labour we carry out. The call-out charge is waived when you go ahead with the repair — you only pay it if you decide not to proceed after diagnosis. We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and the line is open 24/7.

How often should a De'Longhi coffee machine be descaled here?

Follow the machine's own DESCALE prompt rather than a calendar. Automatic De'Longhi machines count the water they have actually put through, so the prompt already reflects how hard your water is and how much coffee you make — a busy office machine will ask far sooner than a home one. Postponing it repeatedly is the single most common reason we see blocked water circuits, weak flow and pumps that have been worked to death, and all of those cost more than the descale would have.

Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
