We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Hitachi warranty, use Hitachi's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.
We service Hitachi refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and air conditioners. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.
These are codes we are called out for on Hitachi appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
The machine could not drain the water within the expected time, so the cycle stops before the spin stage. Usual causes are a blocked, kinked or badly routed drain hose, a clogged drain pump or filter, or a blocked drain outlet.
Usually: Blocked or kinked drain hose, clogged pump filter, debris (coins, hair clips, lint) jammed in the drain pump impeller, or a site drain outlet that is backed up. In UAE apartments a partially blocked stack drain in the laundry area is a frequent culprit. If the drain path is clear and the code returns, the pump itself or its control circuit is the suspect.
The machine did not take on enough water within the allowed time, so filling is abandoned. Usual causes are a closed or low-pressure water tap, a clogged inlet filter, or a kinked or blocked fill hose.
Usually: Tap left closed or only part open, low building water pressure, a blocked inlet mesh filter at the hose connection, or a crushed/kinked inlet hose. Where the mesh filter is fouled by scale or sediment it is usually cleanable rather than a parts job; a failed inlet valve or pressure sensor is the next thing to check.
The door lock did not confirm it had engaged, so the machine will not start or resume the programme. Usually the door is not fully closed or something is caught in the seal; if the door is properly shut, the lock assembly or its wiring is at fault.
Usually: Door not pushed fully home, laundry trapped in the seal preventing closure, a worn or misaligned catch, or a failed door lock assembly. A brief power-off can clear a one-off latch fault; repeated occurrences usually point to the lock unit or its wiring.
The spin stage could not complete because the load would not distribute evenly enough to be spun up safely - typically one heavy item on its own, or a few small items bunched in a wash net. Note that Hitachi also uses C18 for a spin failure caused by excess detergent foam or an overloaded/tangled drum.
Usually: A single bulky item such as a duvet, bedsheet or rug sitting to one side, or a very small load. Redistributing or adding a couple of items often clears it. Where it recurs on normal loads, worn suspension/shock absorbers, damaged drum bearings or an unlevelled machine on an uneven floor are the usual mechanical causes.
The freezer compartment door has not been closing properly - most often because a food item or container is blocking it, or it has been left ajar. Hitachi notes this code can appear without any actual appliance fault, so check for obstructions and that the door shuts fully before booking a repair; a worn door gasket or misaligned hinge is a secondary possibility, not the primary meaning.
Usually: An item or drawer protruding and holding the door off its seal, an overfilled freezer, a perished or distorted door gasket, or the door simply left ajar. The manual notes the display can appear without a genuine fault and will clear once the compartment returns to temperature. Persistent showing after the door is confirmed shut points at the gasket, hinge alignment or the door sensor.
The fresh food (refrigerator) compartment door has not been closing properly - usually because an item on a shelf or in the door bin is stopping it shutting, or it has been left ajar. As with F3 01, Hitachi notes this can display without a genuine fault, so check for obstructions first; a worn gasket or dropped hinge is a secondary possibility.
Usually: Shelving, bottles or a salad drawer fouling the door, a stretched or dirty gasket that no longer pulls closed, or hinge sag on a heavily loaded door. Given UAE ambient humidity, a compartment that has been open a long while can also take a long time to recover, which is why the manual treats this as a warning that may clear on its own.
Hitachi's UAE range is led by refrigeration, including French-door and side-by-side models, alongside top-load and front-load washing machines and residential split air conditioners.
Hitachi refrigeration parts in the Gulf are model-specific, so the number from the rating plate matters more than the marketing name on the door.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.
We serve Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with no out-of-hours surcharge. Our registered office is in Ajman and our technicians travel to you.
No. We are UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, and we are an independent repair business. We are not appointed by, employed by or connected to the manufacturer, and we are not part of its service network. If your appliance is still inside its manufacturer warranty period, use the brand's own channels first, because an outside repair can affect that cover. Once the manufacturer warranty has run out, or if you would rather use an independent engineer, that is where we come in.
Not necessarily. Both of these relate to a compartment door that has not been sealing properly, F3 01 for the freezer side and F3 02 for the fridge side. Start by checking that nothing is sticking out and holding the door off its seal, that a drawer is not sitting proud, and that the door has actually pulled fully shut. The manual notes the warning can show without a real fault and can clear on its own once the compartment cools back down. If it keeps coming back with the door properly closed, the likely causes are a tired or distorted door gasket, hinge sag on a heavily loaded door, or the door sensor, and that is worth an engineer looking at.
C02 means the machine could not empty within the time it expects, so it stops rather than trying to spin a full drum. Switch it off at the wall first. Then check the drain hose is not kinked or pushed too far down the standpipe, and clean out the pump filter behind the small hatch at the front bottom of the machine, having a towel and shallow tray ready because water will come out. Coins, hair clips and lint are the usual finds. If the filter and hose are clear and C02 returns, the drain pump or its control circuit is the likely fault and needs an engineer. In apartment buildings it is also worth ruling out a blocked building drain in the laundry area, since that is a plumbing issue rather than a machine fault.
Usually not. C04 means the load would not settle evenly enough to spin up safely. It happens most often with one heavy item on its own, a duvet, bedsheet or bath mat that has balled up on one side, or with a very small load. Open the door, spread the washing out, add a couple of similar items if the drum is nearly empty, and run the spin again. If it happens on ordinary mixed loads too, then the mechanical side needs checking, most commonly worn shock absorbers or suspension, drum bearings, or simply a machine that is not sitting level and firm on the floor.
We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That matters more than people expect with a fridge or freezer, because a failed refrigerator in UAE summer heat can cost you a full load of food overnight. If your Hitachi fridge or freezer has stopped cooling, call it in rather than waiting for the morning.
If you go ahead with the repair we quote, the call-out charge is waived. We will not start work or fit parts without your approval of the price first. We do not publish repair prices on this page because the cost depends entirely on the model and the actual fault, and any number posted in advance would be a guess.
Yes. We give a 90-day warranty covering both the parts we fit and the labour involved. If the same fault comes back within that period, we return and put it right. This is our own warranty as an independent company, and it is separate from any manufacturer warranty on the appliance itself.
It depends on the model and how old it is. Some older Japanese-market Hitachi refrigerators seen in UAE homes are harder to source parts for than the current regional line-up. We will not promise a part we cannot get, so what we do is diagnose the fault first, confirm whether the part can actually be sourced, and tell you honestly what that involves before you commit to anything. If a repair is not sensible or not possible, we will say so rather than take the job.
The common causes on a Hitachi split, in rough order, are clogged filters and a dirty indoor coil restricting airflow, a blocked or overflowing condensate drain, low refrigerant from a leak, a fouled outdoor condenser coil, or a failed capacitor or compressor on the outdoor unit. Cleaning the filters is worth doing yourself and sometimes fixes it outright. Beyond that, refrigerant work and any electrical fault on the outdoor unit need an engineer with gauges. Bear in mind that on split systems the indoor unit carries an RAS or RAK model number and the outdoor unit an RAC number, so having both to hand when you call speeds up the diagnosis.
Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
