Booking an independent Indesit repair
We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Indesit warranty, use Indesit's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.

Common Indesit fault codes and what they actually mean
These are codes we are called out for on Indesit appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
F05 — washing machine
Drain fault. The machine failed to empty the drum within the time the control board allows, so the cycle stops with water still inside and the door stays locked shut. Indesit's own wording is 'waste pipe blockage or pump issue'. Usual causes, in order: blocked pump filter, kinked or blocked drain hose, standpipe too high, an object jamming the pump impeller, or a failed drain pump.
Usually: Blocked pump filter (coins, lint, hair clips), a kinked or blocked drain hose, or a silted-up wall drain. If those are clear, the drain pump or the pressure-sensing tube is the next suspect.
F03 — washing machine
Water drain failure / drain timeout. The dishwasher did not pump its dirty water out within the allowed time, so it stops, usually with standing water in the tub. Check the filters, the drain hose for kinks or blockages, and the under-sink plumbing and waste spigot; if those are clear, the drain pump itself is the likely fault.
Usually: Failed NTC temperature sensor, a broken or corroded connection to it, or heavy limescale coating the sensor — common with hard UAE tap water.
F02 — washing machine
Motor circuit fault. The board drove the drum but did not get the rotation feedback it expected, so it stops the programme - the symptom is intermittent or no drum rotation. Most common cause on machines over about five years old is worn motor carbon brushes; also a jammed drum, a failed tachogenerator, motor winding failure, or wiring between motor and board.
Usually: Worn motor carbon brushes on brush-type motors, a loose motor loom connector, or a motor/board fault.
F04 — washing machine
Pressure switch jammed on empty. The board asked the machine to fill but the water-level (pressure) system never reported the level rising, so the cycle stops. It specifically means 'no water level detected' - not any generic wrong level. Usual causes: the narrow pressure-switch hose blocked, kinked or detached (the single most common one), excess suds in the pressure chamber, or a failed pressure switch. If you can hear the machine filling, suspect the pressure system; if you hear no water at all, it is more likely a fill/supply problem (H2O) instead.
Usually: Detached, split or water-logged pressure hose between the tub and the level switch, a blocked pressure chamber, or a failed pressure switch/sensor.
F01 — washing machine
Electronic control board fault. The main PCB is not operating correctly, so the machine will not run - commonly it fails to start or some or all functions cannot be selected. In Indesit service literature the specific trigger is usually a short-circuited motor triac on the board. Worth a first step: isolate at the mains for two minutes and restart, since F01 can clear if it was a transient supply event. If it returns, it needs engineer diagnosis - board replacement is expensive, so rule out wiring and moisture damage first.
Usually: Board-level failure, often after a power surge or moisture ingress; damaged wiring or a poor supply connection can also trigger it.
F03 — dishwasher
Water drain failure / drain timeout. The dishwasher did not pump its dirty water out within the allowed time, so it stops, usually with standing water in the tub. Check the filters, the drain hose for kinks or blockages, and the under-sink plumbing and waste spigot; if those are clear, the drain pump itself is the likely fault.
Usually: Clogged filter or sump, a blocked or badly routed drain hose, or a drain pump that has jammed or failed.

My Indesit washing machine has stopped with F05 on the display. What is it telling me?
F05 means the machine tried to pump the water out and did not manage it in time, so it stopped mid-cycle with water in the drum. Before calling anyone, switch it off at the wall, put a towel and a shallow tray down, and check the pump filter behind the small flap at the bottom front — coins, hair clips and lint are the usual culprits in UAE homes. Also check the drain hose is not kinked or pushed too far into the wall pipe. If the code returns after the filter is clean, the drain pump or its wiring usually needs attention and we can look at it.
Is there a call-out fee if I book an Indesit repair?
The call-out charge is waived when you approve the repair. Our technician diagnoses the appliance, explains what is wrong and quotes before any work starts — if you go ahead, you pay for the repair, not for the visit.
What cover do I get after the repair is done?
We give a 90-day warranty on both parts and labour for the work we carry out. If the same fault comes back within that period, we return and put it right.
Can you get parts for an older Indesit model?
It depends on the model and the exact component, and a good part of the Indesit range sold here is built-in, which means model-specific parts. We check availability against your model number before quoting, so you are told up front whether the repair is practical rather than finding out after the appliance is stripped down. If a part cannot be obtained, we say so instead of stringing the job out.
My Indesit dishwasher will not drain and is showing an error. Can I do anything before booking?
Yes, and it is worth two minutes. Turn the dishwasher off, lift out the bottom basket and remove the filter assembly in the base, then rinse away the food debris and grease that collects there. Check the drain hose behind the machine for kinks and make sure it has not been pushed too deep into the waste pipe. If the machine still will not empty, the drain pump or the sump is the likely problem and it needs opening up.
My Indesit fridge is running but not getting cold. Is that worth repairing?
Usually it is worth diagnosing, because the cause ranges from something minor to something major and you cannot tell from outside. Check first that the vents inside are not blocked by packed-in food, that the door seal is closing cleanly, and that the appliance has breathing space at the back and sides — UAE kitchen temperatures make poor ventilation a real cause of weak cooling. If it still is not cooling, a technician needs to test the sealed system, fan and controls before anyone can sensibly say whether to repair or replace.
Can you come outside working hours or at the weekend?
We operate 24/7, so you can call at night or over the weekend. A dead fridge or a washing machine full of water is not something that waits politely until Monday.
Do I need to know my model number before I call?
It helps a lot. On Indesit machines the rating plate is usually on the door frame or rim of a washing machine or dishwasher, inside the fridge compartment, or on the back of a cooker. Sending us that model number and any code on the display means we arrive with a much better idea of what we are dealing with.
