We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Maytag warranty, use Maytag's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.
We service Maytag washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.
These are codes we are called out for on Maytag appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
Drain time is longer than expected — typically over eight minutes — so the washer flags a long-drain fault. Usually caused by a clogged drain pump filter, a kinked or clogged drain hose, or a drain line inserted too far into the standpipe.
Usually: A blocked drain pump filter, a kinked or badly routed drain hose, a clogged standpipe, or a failing drain pump. In UAE apartments a partially blocked building waste stack is also a frequent culprit.
The door is not locking properly. The control cannot confirm the door is latched and locked, so the cycle will not start or continue. Check that no laundry or object is trapped in the door, and push the door firmly shut.
Usually: Laundry caught in the door seal, a worn or misaligned door latch, a failed door lock assembly, or damaged wiring between the lock and the control board.
The washer is sensing a low flow of water — water is entering too slowly for the machine to fill in the expected time. Check that both taps are fully open, inlet hoses are not kinked, and the inlet screens/filters are not blocked.
Usually: A partly closed inlet tap, a crushed fill hose, blocked inlet filter screens, low building water pressure, or a faulty water inlet valve. Scale and sediment in inlet screens are a common local cause given UAE water hardness.
Restricted airflow — air is not moving through the dryer freely enough for normal drying. Caused by a clogged lint screen or exhaust vent, or a vent that is crushed, kinked, or has too many bends.
Usually: A loaded lint filter, a blocked or crushed exhaust duct, a duct run with too many bends, or a blocked external vent flap. Very common where a dryer sits in a closed laundry room or vents through a long duct run.
Low or no line voltage. The dryer is not receiving adequate supply voltage, so the heater will not come on. Check the power supply to the machine — the breaker, the socket, and the supply connection.
Usually: A tripped breaker, a loose or damaged supply connection, or a fault in the socket or circuit feeding the machine. On imported units it can also follow an unsuitable supply conversion.
Water has been detected in the drip tray under the dishwasher. The machine starts a drain sequence and blocks further operation, sounding an alarm tone that can be silenced with the Cancel key. Common causes are a loose water supply connection, a dislodged float switch, or excessive suds from using hand dish soap instead of dishwasher detergent — most often seen on a newly installed machine.
Usually: A leaking water supply connection, water sitting in the base tray, a stuck or disconnected float switch, or heavy foam from the wrong detergent. Maytag's page sets out the checks rather than defining the code in words, so the wording above is my reading of it.
Maytag does not run a UAE site, so its local presence is through regional retail rather than a published UAE range. Machines here are typically American-format front-load washers and dryers, which use paired codes such as F9 E1 rather than single letters.
Maytag is not distributed through a UAE brand channel, so parts are sourced through the regional aftermarket. That is worth knowing before a repair is approved, and we confirm availability at diagnosis.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.
We serve Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with no out-of-hours surcharge. Our registered office is in Ajman and our technicians travel to you.
That usually means the machine could not finish emptying in the time it allows itself, and on many Maytag front-loaders it shows as F9 E1. The usual reasons are a blocked drain pump filter, a kinked or badly routed drain hose, a blocked standpipe, or a drain pump on its way out. Clearing the filter sometimes fixes it. If the code comes back, the pump or the drain route needs looking at properly. We are an independent repair company and we cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi around the clock.
Almost always restricted airflow. Maytag flags this as AF or F4 E3 on many dryers. The lint filter, the exhaust duct behind the machine, and the vent flap outside are the three places to check — a long duct run with several bends, which is common in villa and apartment laundry rooms here, chokes the airflow and the machine simply cannot shed the moisture. If the duct is clear and it still will not dry, the heater, thermostat or moisture sensor is the next thing to test.
Not necessarily. If the drum turns and the load stays cold, and the machine shows L2, the fault is on the supply side rather than inside the dryer — the heater is not seeing the voltage it needs. A tripped breaker, a loose connection at the socket, or a problem on the circuit feeding the machine will all do it. It is worth checking that before assuming a failed heating element, and it is one of the cheaper outcomes when it turns out to be the supply.
No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent repair company. We are not an agent for Maytag and we have no affiliation with the brand. We repair Maytag appliances the same way we repair other makes. If your machine is still inside its manufacturer warranty, going through the warranty channel first is normally the better route, because an independent repair can affect that cover.
The call-out is waived when you approve the repair. If you look at the diagnosis and decide not to proceed, the call-out charge stands — that covers the technician's visit and time. We tell you what is wrong and what it will cost before any work starts, so the decision is yours to make with the numbers in front of you.
Yes. We give a 90-day warranty covering both parts and labour on the work we carry out. If the same fault returns within that period, we come back to it. The warranty applies to what we repaired — a separate, unrelated fault developing later is a new job.
It depends on the model. A lot of the Maytag laundry in this region is US-built, and part availability varies between models and how old the machine is. We check availability against your model and serial number before quoting, and we tell you what we find before anything is ordered — including when a part cannot be sourced, because you deserve to know that early rather than after a machine has been left in pieces. The model and serial are on a plate inside the door frame or on the rear panel.
We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and the line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call or message with your emirate, the appliance, and any code showing on the display — that last detail often lets the technician arrive with the likely part already on the van.
Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
