Booking an independent Teka repair

We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Teka warranty, use Teka's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.

Which Teka appliances we repair

We service Teka built-in ovens, hobs, cooker hoods and dishwashers. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.

Common Teka fault codes and what they actually mean

These are codes we are called out for on Teka appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.

E3 — dishwasher

Heating fault — the wash water did not reach the temperature the selected programme requires. Cause is the heating element or its circuit (element, thermostat/NTC, or the relay driving it); on the DW8/DW9 S series the machine ends the running programme when this trips.

Usually: Failed heating element, open-circuit thermostat or NTC temperature sensor, scale build-up on the element (very common on hard UAE water), or a control board relay that is no longer switching the heater.

E8 — dishwasher

Diverter (distributary) valve fault — the valve that alternates water between the upper and lower spray arms is not reaching or reporting its correct position. Manual causes: open circuit in the valve wiring, or a broken/jammed diverter valve. On the DW8/DW9 S series this ends the running programme.

Usually: Broken or jammed diverter valve, failed valve motor, or an open circuit in its wiring loom. Symptom is usually poor wash results on one rack while the other cleans normally.

F — cooker hood

Not a fault. F is the filter saturation indicator — a usage-hours reminder that the filters are due for attention (on most Teka hoods this is the metal grease filters, which are washable by hand or in the dishwasher; charcoal filters on recirculating models are replaced, not washed). Clean or replace the filters, then reset the indicator using the procedure in your model's manual, since the reset key combination varies by model.

Usually: Normal accumulated running hours since the last reset. Clean or replace the grease filters, then reset the indicator using the sequence for your specific hood model. Teka's own support material states this letter signals filter saturation and is a user reminder, not a fault.

Teka model families we see in UAE homes

Teka's UAE site lists built-in ovens in 60cm multifunction, 45cm compact and 90cm large-capacity formats, alongside steam, conventional and gas ovens, plus hobs, cooker hoods and dishwashers.

Teka parts in the UAE

Teka dishwasher fault codes differ between platforms, so the same code can mean different things on two Teka machines. The model number decides which reading applies and which parts fit.

We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.

How the repair works

  • Call or WhatsApp with the model number and the symptom.
  • On-site diagnosis — the fault is tested and confirmed, not guessed.
  • Fixed price, approved by you before any work starts. Parts quoted separately.
  • Tested in front of you, then 90 days of warranty on the repair.

Teka repair questions

My Teka dishwasher shows E4 and has stopped. What should I do right now?

E4 means the machine has detected water where it should not be and has flagged an overflow or leak. Turn the dishwasher off at the socket and close the water inlet tap under the sink before anything else, then mop up any standing water on the floor. Do not keep restarting it - if the leak is coming from a split hose, a failed door seal or a cracked sump, running it again just puts more water into your kitchen. We are open 24/7 and cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, so a leaking dishwasher does not have to wait until morning.

My Teka dishwasher runs but the dishes come out wet and the plastics are still greasy. Is that a fault?

Usually yes, and on many Teka models it will eventually show as E3 - the wash water never reached the temperature the programme asked for. The usual causes are a failed heating element, a temperature sensor or thermostat that has gone open circuit, heavy scale on the element from hard UAE water, or a control board relay that is no longer switching the heater on. It is a repairable fault on almost every model. Our technician confirms which component has failed and quotes you before doing the work, and the repair carries a 90-day warranty on both parts and labour.

My Teka dishwasher will not fill and shows E1. Is the machine broken?

Not necessarily. E1 means the dishwasher waited too long for water and stopped rather than running dry, so the first things to check are the simple ones: is the inlet tap fully open, is the fill hose kinked behind the machine, and is water pressure normal at the kitchen sink. Low or fluctuating supply pressure is genuinely common in older buildings and on tank-fed systems here. If the supply is fine, the fault is usually a blocked inlet filter screen or a failed inlet valve, both of which are straightforward for a technician to replace.

My Teka induction hob keeps showing E2 and switching itself off mid-cooking. Why?

E2 means the hob's electronics have got too hot and the hob has shut the zones down to protect itself. Very often this is an installation and ventilation problem rather than a broken hob - a sealed cabinet with no air gap, a drawer or built-in oven fitted too close underneath, or a blocked ventilation slot. UAE kitchen temperatures in summer make it worse. It can also be a clogged or failed cooling fan. A technician checks the airflow and the fan before condemning any electronics, because the fix is frequently much cheaper than people expect.

There is a letter F on my Teka cooker hood display. Is the hood faulty?

No. On Teka hoods that F is a filter saturation reminder, not a fault code - it is telling you the grease filters have hit their cleaning interval. Take the metal grease filters out, wash them, refit them dry, then reset the indicator using the button sequence for your model. If the F keeps returning straight after a reset, or the hood is noisy, vibrating or barely pulling air, then something else is going on - typically the motor, capacitor or the control board - and that is worth having looked at.

My Teka oven is not heating properly but there is no error code on the display. Can it still be diagnosed?

Yes. Teka does not publish a general error-code table for its built-in ovens the way it does for some other appliances, so oven faults are diagnosed by symptom and by electrical testing rather than by reading a code off the display. No heat at all, one element working and not the other, a fan that runs but does not heat, wildly wrong temperatures, a door lock stuck after a cleaning cycle, or a clock display that flashes and blocks the oven from starting - all of those point to specific components a technician can test on site.

Are you connected to Teka in any way?

No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent repair company with no affiliation to Teka or to any Teka brand entity. If your appliance is still inside the manufacturer's warranty period, use the manufacturer's own support channel first - an independent repair can affect that warranty. We are the option for appliances that are out of warranty, or where you would rather deal with an independent workshop.

Which emirates do you cover, and can you come outside working hours?

We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and we operate 24/7 - including nights and weekends, which matters for a leaking dishwasher or a hob that has cut out before a family dinner.

Do I pay a call-out fee if I decide not to go ahead with the repair?

The call-out charge is waived when you approve the repair. The technician diagnoses the fault, tells you what has failed and what it will cost, and you decide from there. Completed repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.

My Teka hob showed U400 straight after it was installed and will not switch on. What is that?

U400 means the hob has been connected to the wrong supply configuration - the controls shut down about a second after switching on and a continuous tone sounds. It is almost always a wiring error at the terminal block, such as the wrong live and neutral arrangement or a bridging link left in or taken out incorrectly during installation. It is not a sign that the hob itself has failed. Do not keep power-cycling it; get the connection checked and corrected properly.

Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
