We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Toshiba warranty, use Toshiba's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.
We service Toshiba refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, air conditioners and water dispensers. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.
These are codes we are called out for on Toshiba appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
Water intake fault. The machine is not filling as expected — the water level is not reached within the control board's allotted time, so the cycle halts at a fill stage (wash or rinse). Usual causes: tap closed or low pressure, kinked inlet hose, blocked inlet valve mesh filter, faulty inlet valve or water level sensor.
Usually: Supply tap not fully open, a kinked or crushed inlet hose behind the machine, low mains pressure, or the small mesh filter at the hose connection silted up with scale and grit — a frequent issue on UAE water supply.
Drain fault. The drain stage did not complete within the allowed time, leaving water in the tub and blocking progress to spin. Usual causes: blocked or kinked drain hose, drain hose routed too high, clogged pump filter, or a failed drain pump.
Usually: Blocked drain filter or pump impeller (coins, lint, hair clips), a drain hose run too high or looped incorrectly, a partially blocked standpipe, or a failed drain pump.
Out-of-balance load detected during the spin (dehydration) stage. The machine aborts rather than spin an uneven drum. Usually a bunched or single heavy item, an overloaded or underloaded drum, or an unlevel machine; persistent cases can point to worn suspension or a faulty balance sensor.
Usually: A single heavy item such as a bedsheet or towel bunching to one side, an overloaded or badly under-loaded drum, worn suspension rods or dampers, or the machine sitting unlevel on an uneven floor.
Water intake fault on front loaders. The drum is not reaching its target water level in the expected time. Usual causes: low mains pressure or a partly closed tap, kinked inlet hose, blocked inlet valve mesh filter, or a failed inlet valve.
Usually: Closed or half-open tap, restricted inlet hose, low incoming pressure, a clogged inlet-valve filter screen, or a failed water inlet valve or pressure/level sensor.
Drain timeout on front loaders. The machine is pumping out but the water is not clearing within the allowed time. Usual causes: blocked or kinked drain hose, clogged pump filter/trap, blocked standpipe, or a weak or failed drain pump.
Usually: Debris trapped in the pump filter, a blocked or crushed drain hose, a restricted household waste connection, or a weak or seized drain pump.
Door not closed / not latched. The control has not registered the door as properly shut, so the cycle will not start or resume. Commonly laundry trapped in the door seal preventing full closure; otherwise a worn latch, misaligned door, or failed door-lock (interlock) assembly. Do not confuse with E12, which is water overflow.
Usually: Laundry caught in the door seal, a misaligned or dropped door on worn hinges, a bent or broken latch tongue, or a failed door-lock (interlock) assembly.
Toshiba sells both top-load and front-load washing machines in the UAE, which use different fault-code sets entirely, along with refrigerators, microwaves and split air conditioners.
Because Toshiba's top-load and front-load machines use different control platforms, the model code decides which parts fit — the two are not interchangeable.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.
We serve Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with no out-of-hours surcharge. Our registered office is in Ajman and our technicians travel to you.
E1 means the machine is not receiving water as expected. Check three things first: that the supply tap is fully open, that the inlet hose behind the machine is not kinked or trapped against the wall, and that the small mesh filter where the hose screws into the machine is not blocked. UAE mains water carries a lot of scale and that filter silts up quickly. Close the tap, unscrew the hose, rinse the filter, refit it and restart. If E1 returns, the inlet valve or the water level sensor is the likely fault and needs a technician.
Often yes. Both codes mean the machine could not empty within its allowed time. Switch off at the wall, put a shallow tray and towels down, then open the pump filter flap at the front bottom of the machine and clean out whatever is trapped there — coins, hair clips, lint and buttons are the usual culprits. Also check the drain hose is not crushed behind the machine or pushed too far into the standpipe. If it still will not drain after that, the pump itself has usually failed and we can replace it on site.
Not necessarily. A Toshiba fridge that hums but does not cool most often has a defrost fault, a failed evaporator fan, a blocked airflow path between freezer and fridge compartment, or a stuck door seal letting warm air in. Those are all component-level repairs. A genuinely failed compressor or a refrigerant leak in the sealed system is the expensive scenario, and it is the minority of cases. We diagnose first and give you the cost before any work starts, so you can decide whether the repair is worth it against replacement.
A microwave that lights up, turns and counts down but does not heat has usually lost the magnetron, the high-voltage diode or the capacitor. It is a repairable fault, but a microwave contains a capacitor that holds a dangerous charge even when unplugged, so this is not a DIY job under any circumstances. We assess it and tell you honestly whether the repair makes financial sense on your model, particularly on smaller countertop units where a replacement may cost less than the parts.
In Dubai and Sharjah the two most common causes are a choked air filter or coil restricting airflow, and a blocked condensate drain line backing water up into the indoor unit. Both are servicing issues rather than failures. Weak cooling with clean filters usually points to low refrigerant charge from a leak, a failing fan motor, or a control or sensor fault on inverter models. Turn the unit off if water is dripping onto electrics or furniture, and get it looked at rather than running it.
We are an independent repair company — UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care. We have no affiliation with Toshiba or its manufacturer network. That means we repair Toshiba appliances of any age, including units well past their manufacturer warranty. If your appliance is still inside the manufacturer's warranty period, you should go through the manufacturer's own channel first, because an independent repair can affect that cover.
We give a 90-day warranty covering both the parts we fit and the labour. If a repair we carried out fails within that window on the same fault, we come back and put it right. The call-out charge is waived when you go ahead with the repair we quote — so you only pay a visit fee if you decide not to proceed after diagnosis. You get the price before any work begins.
We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and our line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call or message with your appliance type and the fault code or symptom, and we will book the earliest slot available for your area. Having the model number ready — on the door frame of a fridge, the rear panel or door rim of a washer, or the back of a microwave — helps the technician arrive with the right parts.
Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
