We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Viking warranty, use Viking's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.
We service Viking ranges, ovens and cooktops. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.
These are codes we are called out for on Viking appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
The control cannot confirm the oven door latch is in the position it expects. It most often appears around a self-clean cycle, where the door has to lock before the cycle will run and unlock once the oven has cooled.
Usually: A latch motor that is not completing its travel, a failed latch switch, or wiring to the latch assembly. On some models a related F1-2 points instead at the touch panel or its connection to the control board, so the two need separating on site.
The oven temperature sensor circuit reads open, so the control has lost its temperature reference and shuts the cycle down rather than heating blind.
Usually: A failed sensor, a broken or chafed sensor lead, or a connector that has worked loose behind the cavity. It is a cheap part but the wiring has to be tested first, because a good sensor on a broken lead reads exactly the same.
The door lock circuit has not done what the control expected, typically leaving the door locked after a self-clean cycle or refusing to lock before one starts.
Usually: The same latch assembly and switch that cause F1, seen from the other direction. A 30 to 60 second power cycle at the breaker sometimes releases a door left locked after cleaning; if it returns, the latch or its circuit needs attention.
Viking is a professional-style cooking brand, and that changes the fault profile. Its ranges run sealed burners rated far higher than a domestic hob — Viking quotes up to 23,000 BTU on its top burners — and its ovens use a powered convection system rather than a simple fan. More heat and more moving parts in the cavity means the failures cluster around the door, the latch and the temperature circuit rather than around ignition.
This is the most common Viking call we take, and it is usually the self-clean cycle rather than a broken oven. The latch is designed to hold the door shut until the cavity has cooled, so a door that will not open immediately after a clean is behaving correctly. Let it cool fully. If it is cool and still locked, switching the breaker off for 30 to 60 seconds and back on releases it on many models.
If it stays locked, or an F1 or F9 is showing, stop there. The latch motor and its switch are inexpensive parts; a door assembly forced open against a live latch is not. This is the single most avoidable expensive Viking repair we see.
On a Viking this points at the temperature sensor circuit before it points at the element. F3 is the sensor reading open. The part itself is cheap, but the lead running back from the cavity is what usually fails — chafed against the liner or worked loose at the connector. A good sensor on a broken lead gives the control exactly the same reading as a dead sensor, so both get tested before either is replaced.
Uneven browning without a code is a different problem: on a convection Viking it is usually the convection motor or its baffle rather than the thermostat.
On a professional-style gas range that isolates the fault to that burner position — the ignition electrode, the burner cap or the ports — rather than anything shared across the top. Two checks are safe: that the cap is seated squarely and completely dry after cleaning, and that the ports are clear. A cap sitting even slightly proud will spark without lighting. If it lights and then drops out when you release the knob, that is the flame-safety circuit and it is a gas component, not a DIY fix.
Viking does not publish one public fault-code table covering its whole range. The same code can point at different components depending on the model and the control software version fitted, which is a real difference from brands that publish a single chart. We ask for the number off the rating plate before we come out, because on a Viking it decides which code chart applies — not just which part gets ordered.
Viking's UAE presence runs through a regional distributor rather than a brand-run local service arm, and Viking Range publishes a Dubai dealer page of its own. The professional-style ranges, wall ovens and cooktops are what we see here.
Viking parts come through the regional distributor network rather than the general aftermarket, and professional-grade components cost more than mainstream equivalents. We confirm the part, the price and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.
We serve Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with no out-of-hours surcharge. Our registered office is in Ajman and our technicians travel to you.
No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent repair company. We are not appointed by the manufacturer and have no affiliation with Viking. The Viking name appears here only to describe the equipment we work on. If your appliance is still inside its manufacturer warranty, go to the manufacturer or the dealer you bought it from first, because an independent repair may affect that cover.
Let the oven cool completely first: the latch will not release while the cavity is still at clean-cycle temperature, and that is by design rather than a fault. If it is cool and still locked, switching the breaker off for 30 to 60 seconds and back on releases it on many models. If the door stays locked, or an F1 or F9 code is showing, stop there. Forcing a Viking latch is how a cheap switch becomes an expensive door assembly.
No, and this matters more on Viking than on most makes. The same code can point at different components depending on the model and the control software version, and Viking does not publish a single public code table covering the whole range. That is why we ask for the model number from the rating plate before we come out, and why we test rather than replace on the strength of a code alone.
Yes. Viking sells into the UAE through a regional distributor and its professional-style ranges, wall ovens and cooktops are what we see in villas and high-end apartment kitchens here. We diagnose and repair them in place wherever possible, since pulling a fitted range out of a run of cabinetry is a last resort.
Because the parts are. Viking is a professional-grade cooking brand and its latch assemblies, sensors, control boards and burner components cost more than the mainstream equivalents. We publish the higher figure rather than quote a standard price and revise it upward once a technician is standing in your kitchen.
On a professional-style gas range that usually points at the ignition electrode or the burner cap for that one position rather than anything shared. Check the cap is seated squarely and completely dry after cleaning, and that the burner ports are clear. If it sparks but never lights, or lights and drops out when you release the knob, that is the ignition or flame-safety circuit and it needs a technician.
Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
