We are a licensed UAE repair company working across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labour, and the call-out is waived when you approve the work. If your appliance is still under Zanussi warranty, use Zanussi's own service channel first — an independent repair may affect that cover.
We service Zanussi washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, cookers and refrigerators. Every fault is tested and confirmed before any part is replaced, and you approve the price before work starts.
These are codes we are called out for on Zanussi appliances in the UAE. A code narrows the search — it does not name the broken part on its own, which is why every job starts with a test rather than a guess.
The machine has not reached its expected water level within the time the control board allows, so it stops the cycle rather than washing dry. Usually a supply-side fault (tap closed, kinked hose, blocked inlet mesh filter, faulty inlet valve), but the same code appears when water is leaving as fast as it enters — a siphoning drain hose or a blocked pressure-switch chamber will also trigger it.
Usually: Closed or partly closed tap, a kinked or crushed inlet hose, a blocked inlet filter screen at the hose connection, low mains water pressure, or a failed inlet solenoid valve. In UAE villas and apartments running off a tank and pump, weak supply pressure is a frequent trigger.
Water is not leaving the drum within the time the control board allows, so the machine halts mid-cycle and normally stops with water still standing in the drum. Typical causes are a blocked drain pump filter, a clogged or kinked drain hose, an obstructed sump, or a failed drain pump.
Usually: Blocked drain pump filter, coins or hair clips jammed in the pump impeller, a kinked or badly routed drain hose, a clogged standpipe or sink trap, or a worn drain pump.
The control board cannot confirm the door is shut and latched, so it will not start or continue a wash. This covers a door genuinely not closed (laundry trapped in the seal, misaligned catch) and a door interlock that has failed electrically, so the board never receives the locked signal.
Usually: Laundry trapped in the door seal, a misaligned or dropped door hinge, a worn latch hook, or a failed door interlock assembly. It can also appear if the interlock wiring has chafed.
The dishwasher could not pump out its water within the expected time, so it stops the programme and typically leaves standing water in the tub base. Usually a blocked filter or sump, a clogged or kinked drain hose, a blocked waste connection or sink spigot, or a failed drain pump.
Usually: Food debris in the sump or filter basket, a blocked drain hose, a kitchen waste connection that was never knocked through during installation, a clogged sink trap, or a failing drain pump. On some models the fault also shows as beeps or flashes rather than a display code.
The anti-flood system has detected water in the base tray, so the machine stops running programmes and the drain pump runs continuously — often audible as a constant hum even when the machine appears off. Caused by a genuine internal leak, or by over-foaming from incorrect detergent, or by misloading that directs spray into a door seal. Emptying the base tray (tilting the appliance back over a towel) clears it; if it returns, the leak is real.
Usually: A leaking door seal, a split or perished hose inside the cabinet, a cracked sump or tub seam, or a loose inlet connection. Because it points at water escaping inside the machine, this one should be inspected rather than reset and ignored.
The dryer tumbles but is not generating heat, so a full cycle finishes with the load still damp or cold. Zanussi's own order of causes puts restricted airflow first — a clogged fluff filter, or the dryer built into an enclosed cabinet or a room under roughly 10-12 m2 with no ventilation, which lets it overheat and cut the heater out. Only if the drum is still cold after a 30-minute timed run is the heating element, thermostat or thermal cut-out the likely fault.
Usually: Zanussi's own guidance points first at installation and airflow: a dryer boxed into a cupboard with no ventilation, a room that is too small or poorly ventilated, and filters, condenser or door seal that have not been cleaned. If the drum is still cold after roughly half an hour of running, the heating element or its thermal cut-outs usually need testing. Airflow faults are especially common in UAE laundry rooms where the dryer sits in an enclosed utility space.
Zanussi reaches the UAE through Better Life. Model codes begin with Z and a letter group identifying the appliance: ZW laundry, ZD dishwashers, ZO ovens, ZG gas hobs, ZR refrigeration.
Zanussi rating plates carry a PNC product number alongside the model code, and it is the PNC a technician actually needs to order the correct part.
We confirm the exact part, its availability and the expected wait with you before the repair is approved. Where an original part is discontinued or slow to source, we say so and tell you what the alternative is before anything is fitted — including whether it is an OEM part or a high-grade equivalent.
We serve Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman, 24 hours a day including weekends and public holidays, with no out-of-hours surcharge. Our registered office is in Ajman and our technicians travel to you.
Often yes, at least partly. E20 means the machine could not pump the water out in time. Switch it off at the wall, put a shallow tray and towels down, and open the small filter flap at the bottom front — the drain pump filter is behind it. Coins, hair clips and tissue collect there and are the single most common cause. If the filter is clean and it still will not drain, the pump, the drain hose or the waste connection needs looking at, and that is a call-out. Do not force the door open while the drum is full.
No — stop using it and unplug it. i30 means the anti-flood system has found water in the base tray of the machine, and the humming is the drain pump running continuously to try to clear it. That points to water escaping somewhere inside the cabinet: a door seal, an internal hose, or the sump. Leaving it running risks water reaching the kitchen floor and the cabinetry around it. Turn off the water supply at the isolating valve under the sink and book an inspection.
No. UNITECH HOME BUILDING MAINTENANCE L.L.C, trading as 24x7 Customer Care, is an independent appliance repair company. We are not an agent for, and have no affiliation with, the manufacturer of your appliance. Customers choose independent repair for speed and cost, but if your machine is still inside its original purchase warranty, you should use the manufacturer's own channel first so you do not affect that cover — we will tell you honestly if we think that is your better option.
We give a 90-day warranty covering both the parts we fit and the labour to fit them. If the same fault returns inside that period, we come back and put it right at no further charge. The warranty covers the specific repair carried out — it is not a whole-appliance guarantee, so a separate unrelated fault later on would be a new job.
The call-out charge is waived when you approve the repair — in that case it is folded into the job. If you decide not to proceed after we have diagnosed the fault, the call-out charge applies for the technician's visit and diagnosis. We tell you the fault, what it will cost and how long it will take before any work starts, so you can decide with the full picture.
We cover Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi, and we operate 24/7. Out-of-hours matters more than people expect with appliances — a leaking dishwasher or a fridge that has stopped cooling in a UAE summer will not wait until Monday morning. Call at any hour and we will schedule the earliest slot for your area.
If it is displaying E60, the dryer is tumbling but not heating. Before assuming a failed element, check the airflow — Zanussi's own guidance puts installation and ventilation first. Clean the lint filters, pull and rinse the condenser unit, wipe the door seal, and make sure the dryer is not sealed inside a cupboard with no air movement. That is a very common problem in enclosed UAE laundry rooms. If the drum is still cold after about thirty minutes with clean filters, the heating circuit needs testing and it is time to call us.
E40 means the control board cannot confirm the door is properly latched. First, open and firmly re-close the door, and check nothing is caught in the rubber seal — a sock caught in the gasket is a genuinely frequent cause. If it still shows E40, the door interlock, the latch hook or a dropped hinge is usually at fault. The interlock is a fast, inexpensive part to replace on most Zanussi models, so this is generally a same-visit repair.
It speeds everything up if you have it. On washing machines and dishwashers, look on the rating plate on the door rim or the frame behind the door; on ovens, check the frame behind the door or under the control panel; on fridges, look on the side wall inside the fresh food compartment. You want the model code (it starts with Z) and the PNC or product number printed alongside it. That combination tells us which version of the part your machine takes, so we can bring the right one to the first visit rather than a second.
Call-out fees, VAT and what each repair typically costs are set out on our pricing page. What the 90-day cover includes, and what it does not, is on warranty terms.
